A restoration and conservative rehabilitation project was carried out on a historic building in Voghera, formerly the local headquarters of the Bank of Italy.
Following significant water infiltration from the roof, which caused the formation of saline efflorescence on the painted surfaces, a specialized intervention became necessary. The process included the remediation of the pictorial surface through the removal of salts, followed by a cleaning phase and the subsequent consolidation of deteriorated sections.
